AMF-Vulcan™ Guillotine Dampers

AMF-Vulcan™ Guillotine Dampers are used for isolation.
Available in FP (Flat Plate Blade) or EM (Engineered Matrix Blade).

• Smaller Leakage Path (no blade to blade seals)
• Minimal Pressure Drop in the fully opened Position
• Smaller Face to Face required if blades cannot protrude beyond the flanges in the opened position.
• Ability to cut through deposits and maintain Sealing Capability in dirty applications
• Low or No Leakage to Atmosphere (Bonneted Design)

• Poor Modulation and Control Characteristics
• Relatively Slow Operating Speeds (Rack & Pinion Drive)
• Outside Structural Support space required
• Drive & Linkage not readily accessible
